We met on tinder in 2014! We both knew we found our person right away and thought about marriage on the first date - although we didn’t tell each other that until later! We were together for 9 years prior to our wedding, going on 11 years now and we are still best friends. We just welcomed our son, Myles, in January 2025 and we are constantly falling more in love with the people we grow and change into. 

Our journey to Chic Bridals began at a bridal show, where we first spotted the stunning collection. From that moment, we knew we had to experience what the boutique had to offer.

Walking into the appointment, I'll admit I felt a flutter of nervousness. As a plus-size bride, I wondered how the experience would unfold. But the moment the team welcomed us, those worries melted away. The staff was genuinely warm and made me feel completely at ease. What unfolded was nothing short of magical—we laughed, we celebrated, and every moment felt special. It became my absolute favourite part of the entire wedding planning journey.

The designer, Noor, was instrumental in bringing my vision to life. She understood exactly what I wanted the dress to look like in my size and was incredibly encouraging throughout the process. She made sure I could move freely, sit comfortably, and dance without hesitation. That level of care and attention meant everything.

Then came the moment I'll never forget—when I found THE dress. It wasn't just about putting on a white gown; it was about finding something that truly complemented who I am. The dress reflected my personality and made me feel like I was absolutely shining. From the second I put it on, I loved every single moment in it. My mum knew instantly too—she took one look and we both just knew.
