Paul & Stefani Love Story
We actually met on bumble back in 2018. Our first date was a breakfast date. I actually just came from the gym and we met up. We talked for hours in the car afterwards and realized that we both like the same type of music and humour. We ended the date with a kiss and planned to meet again. I remember he told me he didnt like to make the first move so I said dont worry I will ! and leaned in for the kiss. Our second date was movie and he brought me over some cookies. Which is my weakness. It was crazy how much we had in common. We loved emo music, disney and bodybuilding. WE ALSO ARE HUGE FOODIES. I shocked him on how much I could eat lol. We both loved fitness and I actually inspired him to do a bodybuilding comp. Over the years we grew together and I opened up my own fitness business called imperfect nutrition where he became a coach with me. We helped inspire 100's of individuals over the years with our passion for fitness.
I first heard about Chic Bridals through the bridal convention in Toronto, and honestly, I'm so glad I did! Walking in, I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted. I've spent years dedicated to bodybuilding with Paul, so I knew I needed a dress that would let me show off my arms and celebrate all that hard work. An open back was a must for me—something that felt like me, you know?
The appointments were amazing. The team was so helpful and kind, and they really got what I was looking for. I loved all the feedback they gave me, and it was so special being able to take pictures in the studio with my friends and family there. Those moments meant everything to me.
When I tried on the one, I just knew. It's hard to explain, but I felt like myself in it. There was something timeless about it that made me confident it would be just as beautiful years from now. And the best part? It fit me perfectly right off the rack—I didn't even need alterations!
